Many creative challenges can be overcome with thoughtful guidance, careful craft development, and the right encouragement. Seeing writers succeed, whether that means finishing a first draft, finding their voice, or achieving publication, is at the heart of why I do this work.

So, why my services?

I am a published author and experienced mentor with a strong academic and professional foundation in creative writing. I also bring extensive experience delivering community-based creative writing programmes and working in internal communications across both public and private sectors. I hold a BA in Creative Writing and an MA in Writing, have mentored undergraduate writers, and have guest lectured at university level as well as spoken on numerous industry panels. My work has been recognised through a shortlist placement for the McDermid Debut Award 2025, and short story prizes, and I host a podcast dedicated to crime writing. With two books published and a third forthcoming, I bring both practical industry insight and proven expertise to the delivery of engaging, high-quality creative writing services.
